Ours began with a friendship.

In the spring of 2010, two best friends, Sarah Bennett and Claire Hughes, stood in front of a small white shopfront on a quiet street in London. With nothing more than a shared vision, a few handmade racks, and a deep love for timeless, feminine style, they opened the doors to what would become Sarah & Claire London.

What started as a simple neighbourhood boutique quickly grew into something far more meaningful. Over the years, our shop has become a place where generations of women come to feel seen, comfortable, and beautiful just as they are.

Sarah and Claire built this boutique with care, trust, and the belief that clothes should never wear the woman she should wear them. They handpicked every piece with the same attention they gave to every guest, creating not just a store, but a community.

From the very beginning, quality has been at the heart of everything we do. We choose fabrics that feel as good as they look, pay attention to every detail, and work only with makers who share our values. Every item we offer is made to last pieces you’ll reach for season after season, knowing they’ll always make you feel your best.

Today, over twenty years later, that same spirit still lives in every detail from the soft fabrics we choose to the gentle way we greet each guest. A lot has changed since 2010, but the heart of our boutique remains exactly the same.
